What is an Assessment Report?

A summary of the results of an evaluation is called an assessment report. It is used to improve internal processes by highlighting the strengths and weakness of an organisation. It is usually written by an external source however, it could also be produced internally. Assessments are usually carried out as part of training and development programs, or as part of a larger performance review.

Assessment reports should clearly state the results of the evaluation and the actions implemented as a result of these findings. They should be easy to read and include the right mix of visuals and text to convey information. They should also take into consideration the design principles of the organization to ensure that they are effectively presented and align with the brand.

When assessing a course, it is not about determining whether students have met the prerequisite requirements. It’s more about how they’ve improved and if the program has improved the student outcomes. Assessment reporting for each academic year is one way to show this. These reports are evidence that programs are constantly evaluating and improving their curriculum. They also show continual improvement.
