These rooms do not have to be extravagant In reality, they’re just standard conference rooms big enough to seat all of the participants and equipped with a table big enough to accommodate the papers of the board as well as any other items required during the meeting. What they require is a place for an open and honest discussion that encourages collaboration and best decision making.
To accomplish this goal, boardroom training is vital for all board members and the corporate secretary or the governance professional who helps them. These courses provide the necessary knowledge and skills to be a successful member of a board and also examine behavioural, psychological and cultural factors that contribute to effective governance and boardroom dynamics.
Boardroom Mastery ™ is an interactive board game that gives participants the chance to improve their leadership abilities in a safe, challenging and secure environment. Each participant will participate in one-on-one sessions with an organisational psychologist who will analyze his or her individual behaviours to assist them in understanding how their behaviours may impact on their decision-making. Over three days, participants will be part of a board confronted with real-world governance and next crisis scenarios to test their current skills in the boardroom and expertise.
